I lived in this town back in ''76 when this old hotel was a pile of sticks. I taught music to kids in the school 'cross the street and lived as a bachelor when who should I meet?Linda Jo was her name, lived here most of her life - dated awhile then made her my wife. I bought us a trailer house on Mill Creek Drive - with our meager paychecks we could barely survive.
So we moved to Alaska and stayed there for
awhile , and gathered our paychecks in a great big pile. We're back in Oregon now, couldn't leave for too long - so many good people couldn't be wrong!
Received as a gift an invitation to stay, at the Prospect Hotel for a night and a day.
The old school is gone now, and so many new names! The old general store has gone up in flames; but up from the ashes like a phoenix to rise stands this lovely hotel beneath azure skies.
We spent the whole night in this place all alone, no one came knocking, nobody phoned. This historic hotel is a great place to stay, the perfect spot for a romantic getaway!

Our first night in Oregon might be our best. What a gem! I knew this was a special place when we first drove
up. The food was great and we loved our big brass bed. We'll see you in the years ahead.

What a wonderful hotel! This was a welcome sight after camping in the rain and cold. I can't remember staying in a hotel with such character.

Loved the afternoon sun as it patterned the floor through the panes. Love the crispness of the pillowcases, the warmth of the hardwood floors, the velvety smoothness of the floral rug when I stepped from bed. We enjoyed it all.

The room is gorgeous! I love the brass bed. The hotel is simply charming and a real gem. I hope to come back with my husband. You'll never guess what my favorite item was. It was the swing. How lovely! It reminds me of a time when I was at my grandparents' home in Nashville, Tennessee. I took several pictures of it. The check-in lady was so kind to give me trail suggestions.

Our stay in your lovely hotel is my birthday treat from my husband. One to remember. This is the highlight of the trip so far for beauty and hospitality. Tomorrow we go on to Crater Lake, but this spot will always stay in our memory.

This hotel truly is a little treasure and a magnificent setting. I feel as if I've stepped back in time to an era of gracious hospitality and an unhurried pace.

Here for our son-in-law's surprise 40th birthday. We filled the hotel, did the murder mystery and now breakfast. This was a great weekend, wonderful fun and good company. We will come back soon.

We came by the hotel by chance and are so glad we stayed. The house and grounds remind me of visiting relatives when I was a child. Everyone is so friendly and everything is so clean. Dinner was excellent. Thank you for a lovely afternoon and evening.

The hotel is so beautiful and made us feel at home. We really enjoyed our stay. Took the walk to see the falls and today we will go to Crater Lake. We'll tell our our friends about this hotel.
